Searching for the right therapist can be a daunting task. Let’s see if it’s a good fit.

There are many reasons to start therapy. While the specifics are unique, the theme is often the same—we get stuck in patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that no longer work for us. These patterns make sense and may even serve a purpose in the short-term. At the same time, they can keep us from living the life we want.

In therapy, I will help you identify challenges and understand barriers. We’ll explore ways to move forward. You will gain the tools to conquer your fears, connect with others, achieve your goals, and embrace your values.

Through my training and professional experiences as a clinical psychologist, I have developed an expertise in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, and related challenges. My main areas of specialty include:

▪︎ Anxiety (e.g., generalized worry, panic attacks, fear of flying)  ▪︎

▪︎ Trauma/Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)  ▪︎

▪︎ Substance Use/Addiction  ▪︎

▪︎ Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)  ▪︎

▪︎ Insomnia/Sleep Issues  ▪︎

▪︎ Depression  ▪︎

▪︎ Relationship/Dating Stress  ▪︎

▪︎ Transitional/Life Stress  ▪︎

▪︎ Grief  ▪︎

This is not an exhaustive list. If you feel that your specific concern isn’t captured here, we may still be a good match. I would encourage you to reach out, so we can discuss further.

For new clients, I like to start with a brief complementary phone call, so we can make sure it’s a good fit. If so, we will then schedule a 60-minute intake to discuss your background, experiences, and goals. This initial session allows us to get to know each other and decide on the right plan going forward. The recommended format of therapy can look different for each person—we will work together during the intake process to determine what’s best for you.
